Staff Spotlight: Anne Maree Henson, Contract Administrator
At the heart of every Camillo project is the amazing team of people who work hard to literally bring builds to life. Today, we shine a spotlight on Anne Maree Henson (who we know as AM), celebrating her 10 years at Camillo!
Anne Maree Henson, Contract Administrator
AM is our Contract Administrator. In other words, she makes our world go round. From drafting terms and ensuring compliance, to change negotiation and risk mitigation, she plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our projects. Having worked in the construction industry for 15 years, spanning different sectors of Aged Care, Schools and Apartments, AM brings her wealth of experience to Camillo – and we couldn’t be prouder to honour her decade-long milestone with us.
Let’s get to know AM.
Camillo: First up – what are you sipping on?
AM: I’m actually not a coffee drinker (despite being in a room full of coffee lovers!), but I am known to have a Red Bull as my “coffee” in the morning.
Camillo: What has been the most notable project you’ve worked on?
AM: I would say the FSH Dandenong project, Viv’s Place. The nature of the project was designed for the sole purpose of supporting women and children coming from domestic violence situations, which was the first of its kind in Victoria at the time. It’s one of my most meaningful projects to date.
Camillo: What are you most proud of in your career so far?
AM: I’ve achieved a lot of milestones and moments in my career so far. Most notably, and overall, it’s my career progression that I’m proudest of achieving to date.
Camillo: Let’s take a little walk down memory lane. What are some of the milestones?
AM: Every project I’ve worked on and completed has been a major career milestone. I originally started at Crema Constructions at the Richmond Icon Project, then completed two other projects at Crema, before moving across to Camillo about 5 years ago. At Camillo, I successfully completed another 3 projects, and now I’m currently working on The Lansell in Toorak. Aside from projects, I am passionate about education and supporting the next generation in our industry. I have assisted with the set-up of our Grad Programs within the group, and I also hold Industry Nights at Melbourne University and RMIT every year.
Congratulations AM on your 10 year anniversary at Camillo!
Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental to our collective success. We are incredibly grateful for your contributions and look forward to many more years, and many more projects together.
